Meet the Chittenango Dental Team

Dr. Badawy is proud to say that he’s built up quite a team of experienced dental professionals over the years. With their knowledge and passion for dental care and customer service, you can expect a team that goes above and beyond what you’re used to. We hope that you get a chance to speak with each team member during your time here, but until then, take a moment to learn more about their expertise and path that brought them to Chittenango Family Dental!

Megan – Office Manager

Office manager Megan

Originally from Cicero, Megan has been part of our team for almost five years so far. She studied at Onondaga Community College. What she enjoys most about her position is getting to know the patients so well over time.

Megan is happily married and has a Chocolate Lab. When she has free time outside of the dental office, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, gardening, and playing with her dog. Before she ever joined our team in an official capacity, she’d also been a long-time patient of Chittenango Family Dental!

Theresa – Dental Hygienist

Dental hygienist Theresa

Theresa has been with Chittenango Family Dental for nearly 30 years and has 35+ years of experience in the oral healthcare field overall! She earned her education from Onondaga Community College and is certified in nitrous oxide/local anesthesia. When it comes to her favorite part of the position, she loves spending time with Dr. Badawy and her other coworkers. She considers them her friends!

For Theresa, her family is her EVERYTHING. In her spare time, she plays on a woman’s golf league called Chix with Stix and is also very passionate about gardening. After a long and varied career, Theresa plans on retiring this year. She looks forward to spending more time with her family and developing new, fulfilling hobbies.

She also used to own her own horse and show them competitively!

Sarah – Dental Hygienist

Sarah’s career in the dental field spans over five years so far. She attended Broome Community College for her education and is certified in local anesthesia – in fact, she originally started college with the dream of becoming an eye doctor before discovering her love of teeth! What she enjoys most about her position at Chittenango Family Dental today is being able to help patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles in the treatment chair.

Originally from Cicero, NY, Sarah and her husband James have two kids named Brecken and Tennisyn, as well as a Golden Retriever named Greta. Outside of work, she spends lots of quality time with her family, travels, goes camping, and eats plenty of ice cream.
